We've been hearing a lot about XML lately. Do any of the explanations
in the press make sense to you? The reason they don't is because the people
who are writing about it don't use it, don't know anything about it.
At Armadillo Associates, we KNOW the technology because we USE the technologies. Which is why our high tech public relations pieces actually say meaningful things, even when they describe complicated technologies. High Tech on the CoastArmadillos originated and write a series profiling interesting (real-life) characters in a small coastside community for a local rag:

Other interesting stuff ...TCP/IP Unleashed, for which we contributed a chapter, was listed in dbaker's Picks. dbaker claims, "All of these books are cooler than nugget's picks." What can we say? The suggestions we and our contributors made about how to structure information so it can be retrieved effectively electronically are more valid now than ever. Unfortunately, the book has been out of print for some time now. We do have some copies; let us know if you'd like to purchase one (we'll even sign it if you choose). We'll publish an electronic version sometime in the third millennium. Programming APIs don't upset us. We don't mind code without comments. Dump stacks of Java, C++ or C on our desks, let us ask some questions, and we'll write the docs and sample applications.
